U ever been so tired ur eyelids burn when u blink
Sometimes I imagine Fred Jones and Hank Venture trapped inside a room somewhere and I don’t exactly know what would happen, but something would probably end up exploding.
I almost forgot how much I fucking love HInata, wow.
Ohhhh~Where should I start!?
Well naturally Hinata receives a lot of hate, just like Rukia, Sakura and Orihime, but I love all four of them, they’re my precious babies.
Anyways, Hinata is a shy, quiet, kind and sweet young girl. The only thing that Orihime and Hinata have in common is body type, and having feelings for the “Hero”.
Because of Hinata’s passive nature she was seen as “weak” and some believed she wouldn’t become a ninja, when she was younger. She even lost her position as heiress of her clan because she was deemed a “failure” by her own father because of her quiet personality and lack of self confidence in herself.
However, later it is shown that Hinata is in fact a very hard worker, and thus begins her character development. Even though she fails time to time, she does not give up. She would get back up, and try, try, and try again. She also didn’t let anyone do her work for her, she wanted to stand on her own two feet by herself. Through out the manga Hinata is shown to show more confidence in herself, speak her mind, and hone her abilities.
One of her biggest moments, to which I think Hinata blossomed, was when she attempted to save Naruto from Pein. Going to quote one of my older post:
“When Naruto fell to Pein, Hinata did not cry, yell, and beg Naruto to save her and the rest of the village. Instead she ran into the middle of the fight and protected Naruto with her body and best of her abilities. She was ready to give her life to protect him, she was even more concerned about getting him free than her own safety in the fight against Pein. She made Naruto her 1st priority and fought tooth and nail to do her very best to help him.
While on the other hand Orihime watches from the side lines, hesitates to interfere in the first place. She actually listens to Ichigo when he says stay back and lets him try to protect her. This is one of the reasons it took so long for them to be on equal grounds on the battle field, hell they probably still aren’t even. She never summoned Tsubaki in Hueco Mundo either, her one offensive fairy, even if it wouldn’t change the outcome—make the effort, give your all, and protect the one you love, even if you’re doomed to fail!
See the difference here?”
This is why there are major differences between Hinata and Orihime, yes their personalities may be similar, but their character developments are no where near the same. Orihime is mainly a healer, but she does have offensive abilities. Her power depends on just how powerful her resolve is. Hachi said they have similar abilities, and yet he’s able to behead several Menos Grande at the same time. He must have a really strong resolve for him to be able to do that, right? Orihime has potential, but her feelings for Ichigo is mostly having a negative effect on her character development, which is opposite with Hinata toward Naruto.
Hinata has proven herself, and everyone that they were wrong about her, she is not a failure. She greatly sharpened her skills, her overall ability rating went from 14 to 21.5 between part 1 and part 3 of Naruto. She even earned her father, and Neji’s respect through hard training and dedication.
She’s intelligent, has amazing chakara control, and is a very kind young girl, but at the same time she isn’t afraid to open a can of whoop ass on someone. She eventually became a Chunin and even mastered her Byakugan abilities. She also has healing components, and incredible taijutsu fighting skills.
She can used many abilities from her clan, and when she went again Pein she used her Gentle Step Twin Lion Fist taijutsu, showing that her skills advanced even further. Just from her sheer resolve. Hinata has blossomed from a quiet little cub to a ferocious powerful Lioness.
Also her confession scene, another huge difference between her and Orihime. Hinata had the confidence to confess to a “conscious” and well aware, Naruto. She at least wanted him to know how she felt before she would most likely die protecting him against Pein.
"I’ve always been a crybaby, and always just gave up before trying. I kept thinking everything I did was wrong. But you showed me the right path to take Naruto-kun. I’ve always been chasing you…I’ve always wanted to catch up with you…to walk with you…to be with you…You changed me Naruto-kun. Your smile saved me! That’s why I’m not afraid…to die protecting you!"
"Because…I love you, Naruto-kun"
And the recent chapters Hinata has shown more development, when Naruto was in his time of need. Yes Hinata admired Naruto from afar, but that admiration developed into her caring from him, and having a form of affection toward him, to the point she fell in love with him. Her feelings for Naruto led to a majority of her character development. Yes Naruto is aware of her feelings, but as to this day he has not given her his answer. Nor has Hinata pushed him for one, she has given him space to let him decide in the end. She is known to have an unshakable faith in Naruto, never doubting him. And from the beginning she always believed him, believing that he will become Hokage despite everyone doubting him in the beginning. Saying his dream was silly or impossible, but Hinata thought otherwise.
When Neji was killed in Chapter 615, “Connected”, Hinata still managed to pull herself together then slap some sense into Naruto when Naruto began to doubt himself. She stopped him from falling into depression, she gave him the confidence he needed to stand back up and FIGHT. She has created new bonds and mended old ones, because she never gave up on herself.
There’s also other little things about her, like that she can cook, or that Kishimoto preferred her to have been the Heroine. Plus her and Naruto have color themes on opposite sides of the color wheel, reminds me of the yin and yang attributes Ichigo and Rukia share. There’s also parallels between NaruHina and MinaKushi just like IchiRuki and IsshiMasa~
I know Naruto isn’t obligated to return Hinata’s feelings, but even if he didn’t, I believe Hinata would still be happy for him. And can still be his friends. She wants to be there for Naruto when she can, and will try her best to do so. And it makes me happy that Naruto acknowledges her feelings for him and is able to see her in a completely different light. This leaves their relationship open for more mutual development, maybe even on a romantic level.
You can’t imagine how proud I am of this adorable girl. I am incredibly amazed at how far she has come from the beginning. No she’s not perfect but she fought to get where she is now.
Hinata is a powerful and self-confident beautiful Lioness.
Hope this wasn’t too long~!! <3
